Google has anounced that from 1st March will drop support for Doc service and sites for Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 2 web browsers, and thus force users to download new and advanced versions of these applications.
Also, it is recommended to use Mozilla Firefox 3.0+, Internet Explorer 7.0 +, Google Chrome 4.0+ and Safari 3.0 + web browsers, while Opera isn't mentioned. From the middle of last year, IE6 has lost the support on the YouTube video portal. The biggest problem will have a large IT companies whose systems run on the IE6 web browser, and there is no easy way to do the upgrade.
Of course, this does not mean that Google's services and the sites will not work after 1st March, however, it is possible that problems will arise when Google improve something in their applications.
